Arm Chair Yoga and Online Beginner Classes.jpg

Starts 8th April

Cut through the distraction.

Why take the challenge?

A daily practice is a commitment to self, inside and out. Our body is our home, and daily movement and mindfulness is essential to ensure we stay healthy in body and mind. This is not news to any of us, but often we lack the motivation and self discipline to make it happen.

Establish your daily practice.

Beginning on Monday 8th April you are invited to practice one class a day for 14 days, in classes as short as 15 minutes. You can make it daily!

How does it work?

  • If you sign up with a friend you get access for free! Please ask your friend to sign up first by sending them a link to this page and then email us on hello@forme.yoga with their name/email and your name/email and we will grant you access to the challenge for free.

Why is this beneficial? You are more likely to succeed by adding a layer of accountability, and it’s supporting the growth of the FORME community. Otherwise, the cost to subscribers and non subscribers is $39.

Once you are signed up you will receive a welcome email with tips and tricks to making this challenge the most fulfilling experience it can be.

  • Each day you will receive an email with 2 class options, one On Demand and one Live class. Select one class to practice. If you prefer to choose another class from the Library you are welcome to do that. Honour what you need each day.

  • Each week we will have a community get together where you can ask questions and share your experiences with the teaching team and each other. This class is on a Saturday at 930am AEST and will include Slow Flow and a meditation with Wallis and then a group check in. It is not compulsory to attend, but we highly recommend it!

What’s involved.

  • Scheduling is key. Plan out your 14 days by choosing a daily practice and adding it to your calendar. Commit to the class like it's the most important meeting of the day.

  • With live classes available every day and tonnes of recorded content, classes as short as 10 or 20 minutes, you have options, on the 14 day challenge.

  • Consistency is key. Even if you have to reschedule your practice or shorten it from a 30 minute class to a 10 minute one, ensure you get yourself onto the mat.

  • Share your progress. Let your friends and family know what you’re doing and how important it is to you. We will encourage you to share your experiences on the FORME community page, this adds a layer of accountability. It can be as simple as commenting; “ I loved Takayo’s sound meditation today, it landed me back in my body after a crazy busy admin filled day.”

What get’s in the way.

  • For many of us, life is filled with distractions; media, work functions, social occasions, family gatherings... plenty of wonderful and not so wonderful things to distract us from looking after ourselves. Taking this challenge is an opportunity to prioritise yourself firest ad foremost.

  • The "challenge" comes with the commitment to show up for yourself each day and check in with where you are at and what you need. There is no expectation that each day be a strong sweaty practice that challenges you physically, or about committing to meditate for 20 minutes each day. It actually doesn’t matter what it looks like, only that you show up and DYB!
    …do your best ;-)

  • Isn’t it true that we often prioritise taxiing our kids around, caring for ageing parents, impossible work deadlines, friends’ drama, washing the dog, life admin, cleaning the car, and the list goes on. Basically everything other than caring for ourselves, and often its not until we are breaking point that we decide ok now is the time to establish a good habit for ourselves. Why? Because we don’t value ourselves like we do all these other important things. This formula doesn’t work. You have to fill your own cup first with nourishing things, in order to be able to show up wholeheartedly for everything else!
